Grade/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defense system. This form of martial arts, originated from Japanese Ju-Jutsu in the early 20th century. It teaches children to successfully defend themselves against an attacker by using leverage and proper technique.

The Center for Health Improvement will be offering Gracie Jiu-Jitsu camps for young boys and girls that will focus on:   • Bully prevention (self-defense and verbal resolution)   • Confidence building   • Character development (responsibility,health, respect, citizenship, manners and caring)   • Balance, strength and flexibility
